3. Coarse sand: Sand and gravel with a fineness modulus of 3.7~3.1, a particle size greater than 0.5mm in the content of more than 50% of the total weight, and an average particle size of 1mm~0.5mm.

From the above comparison, it can be seen that the cone crusher cannot meet the standard of machine-made sand, so it cannot be regarded as a good choice for sand making. The overall structure of the cone crusher is very compact, its crushing ratio is large, low energy consumption and high efficiency, the wear of wear-resistant parts is small, and the cost of replacing wear-resistant parts in the later period will be relatively low. Although the cone crusher can crush a certain amount of sand, it is still impossible to achieve that all the finished products are sand, so sand making is usually used in combination with a cone crusher and a sand making machine.
