Causes of cone crusher vibration

Hydraulic cone crusher

Cone crusher is a commonly used equipment in sand making production lines. During use, one of the most common problems is the vibration of the cone crusher body. So what causes the cone crusher to vibrate? Loose anchor bolts, static and dynamic imbalance of the rotor, excessive bearing clearance, etc. will all cause cone crusher vibration.

1. When the ore feed to the crusher is uneven or excessive, it will cause the crusher frame to vibrate.

2. When the ore feed to the crusher contains too much ore powder and is moist, the discharge port of the crusher is often blocked due to the small discharge port, causing the crusher to vibrate frequently.

3. If the cone crusher bearing temperature is too high, it will also cause the crusher to vibrate. Therefore, it is necessary to frequently check whether the lubricating oil pipe is blocked and whether the selected grease is suitable. If the lubricating oil is too dirty, it needs to be replaced in time to prevent impurities from entering the bearing.

4. If other iron and hard objects enter the crushing cavity, at this time, stop the machine for inspection and clean up the hard debris.

5. If you are using a spring cone crusher, pay attention to the tension of the spring. The spring installed around the frame is the safety device of the crusher. When the crusher enters the unbreakable object, the support ring and adjustment ring supported on the spring strive to lift upward and compress the spring, thereby increasing the ore discharge port and making the unbreakable material bigger. The broken materials are discharged from the machine body to avoid damage to the machine parts. The tension of the spring plays a great influence on the normal operation of the crusher.
