Detailed operation of jaw crusher

Jaw Crusher

Jaw crusher, commonly known as jaw crusher, consists of two jaw plates, a movable jaw and a static jaw, forming a crushing cavity. It simulates the movement of two jaws of an animal to complete the material crushing operation. It is widely used in medium-sized crushing of various ores and bulk materials in mining, smelting, building materials, highways, railways, water conservancy and chemical industries. The maximum compressive strength of the crushed materials is 320Mpa.

Jaw crusher operation details introduction

The structure of the jaw crusher mainly consists of a frame, eccentric shaft, large pulley, flywheel, movable jaw, side guard plate, toggle plate, toggle plate rear seat, gap adjustment screw, return spring, fixed jaw plate and mobile jaw plate, etc. , in which the toggle plate also plays an insurance role. So what details need to be paid attention to during operation? Here is a detailed introduction for you:

1. The jaw crusher must be started without load.

If the crusher makes abnormal knocking sounds after starting, the operation should be stopped. After the fault is identified and eliminated, the machine should be restarted. After a certain period of time has passed after starting, the mining equipment can be started only after it is operating normally. The ore fed to the crusher should be gradually increased until it operates at full load, and overloading should be avoided as much as possible.

2. During operation, always pay attention to whether the lubrication of each lubrication point is normal.

Pay attention to the temperature of the bearing, especially the temperature of the eccentric bearing is not allowed to exceed 600°C. Check the wear of the ore discharge port frequently, and adjust the size of the ore discharge port in time according to the wear condition.

3. Always pay attention to large ore blocks blocking the ore feed port of the crusher.

If it is stuck, be sure to use an iron hook to turn over the ore to remove it. If the ore blocks the crushing cavity, the ore feeding should be stopped, and the feeding machine should be stopped after the ore in the cavity is completely crushed. If large pieces of ore need to be removed from the crushing cavity, the machine must be stopped and processed with special tools. It is strictly forbidden to use hands to remove the ore from the crushing cavity. Remove the ore to avoid accidents.

4. During operation, attention must be paid to evenly feeding the ore, and the ore must not crowd the crushing cavity.

At the same time, it is strictly forbidden to prevent non-crushed objects such as electric shovel teeth and drill bits from entering the crusher when feeding. Once it is discovered that these non-crushed objects enter the crushing cavity and pass through the ore discharge port of the machine, the belt transport station should be notified immediately to take them out in time to avoid entering the next section of the crusher and causing serious equipment accidents.
