The vibrating screen is a screening equipment often used in quarries. It is used closely with the crushing equipment to screen the crushed materials according to the particle size requirements. During the operation of the vibrating screen, failures will occur more or less. Improper operation and maintenance will increase the frequency of vibrating screen failures and affect the use of the vibrating screen. Luoyang Dahua has compiled a series of analysis of common faults in the operation of vibrating screens in quarries.
1. The screening quality of vibrating screen is not good.
Most of the time, the screen holes are clogged, and the fine particles and moisture in the screened materials increase, making the material layer on the screen too thick and the feeding uneven. It may also be that the two sides of the screen are not tightened tightly. If the shaft vibrates eccentrically, the belt drag is weak, or the belt is too loose, it will cause poor screening results.
2. The vibrating screen bearing heats up.
Heating of the vibrating screen bearing is not a good phenomenon, indicating that the usual maintenance has not been kept up. We should check whether there is a lack of grease in the pump, whether the bearings are clogged, etc. If the grease is newly added, the problem is the quality of the grease or it is added too slowly. Inferior grease will cause the bearing to clog the labyrinth seal, so the quality of the grease is very important.
3. The vibrating screen cannot be started or the vibration amplitude is too small.
When this happens to the vibrating screen, you should check whether there is any electrical failure, whether any electrical components are damaged, whether the voltage is stable, and whether there is any failure in the vibrating screen motor. If there is no electrical failure, you need to check mechanically to see if there is too much material accumulation on the vibrating screen surface, which should be removed immediately.
4. Abnormal noise occurs during the operation of the vibrating screen.
When the equipment makes abnormal sounds during operation, it may be due to bearing wear, the screen is not pulled tightly, the bearing fixing screws are loose, the spring is damaged, etc. It is necessary to replace new bearings, tighten the screen, tighten the screws, and replace the springs.
5. The flow of objects on the vibrating screen surface is abnormal.
First, the stiffness of the screen box is insufficient, and the connecting bolts have vibrated, even to the extent of complete vibration, and need to be tightened immediately. Second, the horizontal level of the screen box is not correct. Find the fault from the support base of the support foot spring or the spring itself, and replace the spring or change the size of the support.
