1. Amplitude and vibration frequency

The larger the vibration amplitude, the less the screen holes will be blocked, and the easier it is for materials to penetrate the screen. The vibration frequency affects the beating state of the material on the screen surface. If it is too high or too low, it will cause low screening efficiency. Therefore, it is necessary to select the appropriate amplitude and vibration frequency according to the material.

2. The inclination angle of the screen surface

The angle between the sieve surface and the horizontal surface is called the inclination angle of the sieve surface. The larger the inclination angle, the greater the speed of materials running on the sieve surface, the shorter the residence time, and the lower the screening efficiency. But if the angle is too small, the processing speed of the material will be slower, and the production capacity will be reduced. In order to maintain an ideal state, the angle should be controlled at 5 to 25 degrees.

3. The width and length of the screen surface

The width of the sieve surface affects the processing capacity of the sieve, and the length affects the screening efficiency. The sieve surface is too narrow, so that the material is too thick and difficult to pass through the sieve holes. If the sieve surface is too short, the time for the material to stay on the sieve surface is too short, and the chance of the material passing through the sieve holes will be reduced. However, it is not advisable to be too wide or too long, and the screening efficiency will not be improved much. On the contrary, the sieve structure is bulky and wastes space.

4. The nature of the material

Different materials have different properties. For example, when the water content of the material is high, it will be viscous to a certain extent, easy to agglomerate, and the screen will be blocked during sieving. So it is also very important to choose the type of vibrating screen. If the material has a large specific gravity, large particles, and high hardness, a circular vibrating screen should be selected; if the material has a light specific gravity, fine particles, and low hardness, a linear vibrating screen should be selected.

5. Feeding method

Do not feed from one end, it will cause the screen surface to not be fully utilized, affect the screening efficiency, and the feed end will be worn first, so try to use all the space on the screen surface, feed materials to the screen surface along the direction of material movement, and distribute evenly , do not overload.

6. Regular maintenance

Regularly check the vibrating screen to remove dirt and oil, repair holes in time, and hook out debris to avoid affecting the movement of the vibrating screen. The screen must have sufficient pulling force and fixing force. The looseness of the screen will cause adverse effects on the adjustment of the amplitude and vibration frequency. It is also easy to accumulate materials and shorten the life of the screen.
