Jaw crusher is one of the main equipment used in gravel production. Many customers will encounter various fault problems during the production process, which affects the production progress. Here, BTMA summarizes common jaw crusher failures and solutions for you.
1. The host suddenly shuts down
cause of issue:
1) The discharge port is blocked, causing the silo to be blocked;
2) The triangular tape that drives the sheave to rotate is too loose, causing the tape to slip;
3) The tightening bushing of the eccentric shaft is loose, resulting in no gap on both sides of the bearing seat of the frame, making the eccentric shaft stuck and unable to rotate;
4) The voltage at the working site is too low, and the host is unable to break when encountering aniseed;
5) The bearing is damaged.
Solution:
1) Clear the blockage at the discharge port to ensure smooth discharge;
2) Tighten or replace the triangle tape;
3) Reinstall or replace the tightening bushing;
4) Adjust the voltage of the working site to meet the requirements of the host operating voltage;
5) Replace the bearing.
2. The groove wheel and movable jaw of the main engine are operating normally, but the crushing work stops
cause of issue:
1) The tensioning spring is broken;
2) The tie rod is broken;
3) The toggle plate falls off or breaks.
Solution:
1) Replace the tensioning spring;
2) Replace the tie rod;
3) Reinstall or replace the toggle plate.
